FAMILY MEMBERS

In the context of human society, a family (from Latin: familia) is a group of people affiliated either by consanguinity (by recognized birth), affinity (by marriage or other relationship), or co-residence (as implied by the etymology of the English word "family" or some combination of these. Members of the immediate family may include spouses, parents, brothers, sisters, sons, and daughters. Members of the extended family may include grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and siblings-in-law. Sometimes these are also considered members of the immediate family, depending on an individual's specific relationship with them.

Juan and Frances have a relatively small family in comparison to friends. Juan has a younger sister, Martha, and his mother, Nina; both live nearby in Tarpon Springs, Florida. His father, Romeo Levesque, passed away on 16 March 2014. His sister has two boys: Hunter and Tucker. Juan's extended family lives in Cali, Colombia, but a few members live in southern California. To fulfill Romeo's wishes, Juan and Martha plan to spread their father's ashes on a hike in Southern California in the upcoming year.

Frances has three sisters. Helen lives in Sarasota, Florida, and Lynn and Suzanne live out of state. Helen has two girls: Erica and Jessica. Erica has two boys and lives in Texas, while Jessica has three boys and lives in New York. Lynn has one child and Suzanne has two. Frances' parents (Charlotte and George) are deceased. During individual ceremonies, their ashes were spread off Alligator Light in the Florida Keys. Frances uncle Paul and aunt Caroline live nearby in St. Petersburg, Florida.
