Juan and Frances love to travel. Over the past 20 years, they have taken many in-state and out of state trips. One of their favorite places to go for the weekend is Miami Beach. They have always loved Miami, especially South Beach. If it wasn't so crazy, it is possible that Juan and Frances would be living in Miami. They also love vacationing in California, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico is a special place for them. In fact, Juan and Frances specifically chose a small wedding chapel situated on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean on Isla de Palomino, Palmino Island, off the coast of Fajardo, Puerto Rico as the place to officially unite in marriage. They always choose travel destinations for particular reasons, which usually revolves around the outdoors or a particular event. Over the years, they have gone on numerous beach, skiing, golfing, and fishing trips. For them, life is exploring the world. More often than not, their trips are about warm sandy beaches like Costa Rica or Waimea Bay on the North Shore of Oahu or Playalina in Cape Canaveral, FL. Juan and Frances live for the beach. For them, the beach is freedom, solitude, and paradise.Life's a beach!
One of the most memorable things Juan and Frances did when we visited Niagara Falls last summer was ziplining. It was quite an experience, but Juan later found out that Frances was scared to death; she hates heights. This zipline faced the American and Canadian Horseshoe Falls with riders dangling from a precarious 67 metre (220 foot) high vantage point. Juan and Frances had breathtaking panorama views while letting gravity carry them 670 metres (2,200 feet) at speeds of 70+ kph (40+ mph), along the edge the vast Niagara river gorge to the Falls observation landing. They felt the incredible force of nature on their faces!
